In OFM, you play a male version of the Little Red Hood who go visit his grandmother by plane. Your flight has not been cancelled following Covid, but you end up crashing in a Nordic setting. And here the game starts!

You will have to evolve in a beautiful shade-of-blue of atmosphere, before discovering this fairy landscape is actually quite dangerous (“beware of wolves”, as the first sign warns you). I especially enjoyed the enemies, it was a really clever use of (spoiler alert!!!) werewolves. A great work has been made on the lighting color palette and I really like the music (mixing a fairy melody with a slight stressful tone).

OFM is definitely approved by the Pack! (and not only because there are wolves)

Well done, Mollie! Can’t wait to see what you’re preparing next!

Loving the caption. And thank you very much for your review :)

This was a lot of fun! Finding the last terminal got to be a bit frustrating, but I chalk that up to my staying up way too late to play. The werewolves legit creeped me out, and I like the world design.

Thank you so much for your review!

I really like this game it's really chill and fun to roam around i just wish that the threat was there just a little but more to keep you on your toes. other that that I love the music, art style and the overall feel. Highly recommend!!

Thank you for your feedback and review! Very accurate points and I definitely will put more heart into optimizing the enemies in future versions. Thank you for taking the time:)

wazzuuup!

+ machine positioning good!

+ music: amazing!

+ lighting nice

+ voice actors did an amazing job!

- wolves are:

1. waaaaay too slow

2. getting stuck (sometimes)

3. too predictable

4. Hill = safe space

I do agree on the mouse sensitivity and a missing pause screen/menu.

Is it intended that hitting space bar multiple times makes jumping feel uncomfortable to use? (Had trouble getting into the house from the ramps side)

If u ever need to take a break and dont want to die:

Thank you for your feedback! It's all very accurate points and the wolves are basically just "existing" atm rather then being a ligit threat. The main focus have been the atmosphere for sure, and less so on preformance of the enemies and I am taking notes on that one:). I am currently working on a menu for that reason and hopefully it will become more user friendly. Thanks for taking the time!:)

Great to see some of my suggestions being implemented/changed :) the mouse does feel smoother, but still a little too fast for me.  On some parts of the map the head bobbing combined with the uneven ground makes the bobbing even worse (edges between flat ground and hill). Big question i forgot befor: what is the ticking noise in the background all the time? if i was playing it today for the first time the wolves definatly would have made it harder to reach the machines, as i was kinda speedrunning it, i only had to face 2 wolves in total and was able to outrun them backwards. We also were thinking that some ground fog would add to the atmosphere just perfect! [silent hill] also i noticed a wolve clipping into the ground. Guess thats it! :) Thanks for the update <3 cant wait for the next one!

All suggestions are valueble for future development so I'm very thankful! And yes, the mouse sensitivity remains to act differently even tho after major changes in the settings. I will keep looking into it and educate myself why this happends. The ticking noise I assume you refer to might be the heartbeat sound? It's looping to keep the player somewhat on edge (even though apparently everyone out runs the enemies lol). But if you refer to a different noise then please let me know! And the enemies really could use some TLC for sure x) Thank you for awesome suggestions!

i didnt even get notified about updates and release :O congrats on your release. Let me hop right in and see what happend :)

I wondered how things are going, it's been a few years. Today I noticed that I think back to your game a lot as one of the first itch games I intensively played in terms of spoting bugs, discovering every m² on the map and so on. It's also the 2nd game I ever put into a collection.
You left a great impression somehow, I wanted to have you know that!

The game looks pretty good. But I didn't like it for its slow gameplay. And the mouse controls is pretty bad. Perhaps add a pause menu with settings so that players can change sensitivity, raw mouse input and so on.

Sorry if I sound rude. This is feedback however. Nice game, once again!

Thank you for the feedback, I appreciate it. I was having issues with the mouse controller and I've now tried in the latest version to optimize it with its existing settings. Pause menu and raw mouse input is in the works! Thanks for taking the time to play it :)

Hello, is there any chance of a Linux build?

Linux build is now avilable! It's not tested since I don't have the environment for testing atm. Please let me know if the build worked or not for you :)

The Linux build worked fine for me, running Linux Mint 19.3.  I found it a little difficult to hear the voice overs, so subtitles would be good.  Amazing work, managing to build it in just seven days.

Nice job of world-building in a small area.  You successfully gave it its own unique feel.  Like someone else commented it took me a while to find the machine hidden in the forest, but still the layout of the rest was intuitive.

Congrats on finishing the game!

Thank you so much, I'm happy you enjoyed it! I hear you, more guidlines could have been useful for that one. There is a new version with re-arrangement of the forrest machine. You can read more about the updates in my devlogs :)

Very nice quick adventure, I really enjoyed the ambiance and the music. Can't wait for more

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it and that you are excited for more. Stay tuned :D

I have to congratulate you on this great game. I really liked the graphics and music. The gameplay is simple, but it fits well with the game's proposal. Too bad it's short, but that's okay. congratulations.

So cool to see other people play the game :’) And thank you for the lovely review! It will be updated with a fuller version in the future! You can find the updates in my devlogs:)

Hey I just played your game and it was short and nice! :)

The only thing I would mention is that the player can't jump through the broken walls, means invisible walls.

Keep making video games!

Thank you for taking the time to play it:) What walls are you refering to? The house?

Yes I was running away from the Werewolf and thougt i could jump over or through the Wall but it didn't worked.

Really love the colors and the atmosphere and how you tied the enemies to the level. Obviously always can improve and do things differently but one quick change you might want todo and upload a new build for, move the node hidden in the forest over to the sphinx statue, it was impossible for me to find it even with watching other playthroughs so I never actually finished the game.

Thank you for the review! I did move it a little bit to where I think might be easier to find. Read the devlog to see what I updated:)

hey familia my name is isak, so recently i played your game and i had a lot of fun playing it. to start off the scenery was my favorite, it looked really good, i am bad at describing but there was this awe look to it. i really liked the mystery that revolved around the place we were in, are we in earth or maybe we got teleported to another planet?? O.O idk but it did leave me wondering what those voice meant at the end. i talk more about the game in in the video the gameplay starts at 4:52 also you name by any chance influenced by sodapoppin?

Hey! what a fun video haha. I'm glad you enjoyed it and I definitely agree on your points. What is mouse sensitivity even XD. It was my first game ever and it was made in a few days so it's more like a concept idea at this state. I will keep updating it based on everyones experiences to make it more fun and coherent with the story. And no I'm not familiar with sodapoppin :) Thanks for the review!

thanks for checking out the vid, i really appreciate it :D also for this being your first game this is pretty good! pfft yea what even is a mouse lol. well ima follow your account id like to see how the final project looks or if you have any other project id like to check them out!, keep up the hard work familia!

Nice color pallet and voice acting! Very beautiful game.

Hi! Voice actor from the game here! Are you on twitter to promote your games?

Hi! No I don’t own a twitter account :)

Hey you did an awesome Job! Congrats!

A short simple game that totally deserves your time! Congrats!
